Strain History of Cap Junky:
Cap Junky was born after a collaboration between Seed Junky Genetics and Capulator, arguably two of the most renowned cannabis breeders in the US.

Seed Junky Genetics is headed by breeder and grower JBeezy, whose experience dates back to the early 2000s when he began growing and breeding cannabis out of his garage. Today, JBeezy and Seed Junky Genetics are renowned for creating strains like Gelato, Wedding Cake, Animal Mints, and many more.

Capulator, on the other hand, dates back to 1995 and is the genetics brand founded by a Cali grower and breeder known as The Capulator. Creator of the famous MAC (Miracle Alien Cookies), The Capulator remains super elusive but has become a renowned name in the cannabis industry.

After collaborating, Seed Junky and Capulator created Cap Junky sometime between 2020 and 2021. In 2021, the strain launched, and a limited number of Cap Junky clones were made available to the public for $1,000 each. Since then, it has earned a cult following among cannabis enthusiasts and is beloved by both regular and medicinal users who treasure the strain's unique aromas and intense effects.

Alien Cookies is a hybrid strain bred initially by JAWS Genetics, which, in interviews, the Capulator touted as "the best flower many people will ever smoke." A cross of Forum Cookies (a unique cut of GSC) and Alien Dawg F4, Alien Cookies is a sticky plant that produces exceptionally long, dense, and eye-catching dark flowers. Its aroma is very earthy, with notes of dark vanilla as well as traditional nag champa incense, and its effects are euphoric, happy, and social. Capulator has long been growing and experimenting with Alien Cookies genetics, which is also behind arguably his most famous creation—Miracle Alien Cookies.

Cap Junky's second parent is Kush Mints, a flagship strain from Seed Junky. Combining genetics from Animal Mints and Bubba Kush, Kush Mints was the strain Seed Junky and Cookies used to create The Minntz brand.
